Responsible Materials

DOLCE&GABBANA SELECTS HIGH-QUALITY MATERIALS, INCREASING THE SHARE OF CERTIFIED RAW MATERIALS AND STRENGTHENING CONTROLS ON THE SUBSTANCES USED IN ITS PRODUCTS.

Dolce&Gabbana combines the quality of its materials with clear sourcing criteria. Through its Preferred Material List and its Restricted Substances List, the Group guides the choice of raw materials toward certified options and sets requirements for the chemical safety of its products.

SOURCING AND QUALITY OF MATERIALS

Dolce&Gabbana continues to prioritize high-quality materials, working mainly with Italian suppliers and strengthening the traceability of its supply chain. With the introduction of the Preferred Material List, the Group favors certified raw materials and materials with specific attributes, such as recycled content or renewable origin.

In fiscal year 2025/26, the Group purchased 1,246 tonnes of raw materials, approximately 88% of which were used in production, including 260 tonnes of fabrics. Of these fabrics, 89% were made from fibers of renewable (natural) origin, increasing by 4% compared to the previous fiscal year.
